Auditions have wrapped up in the past two weeks and the Hmong community has been anxiously speculating on both sides of the fence on how the story will unfold: Disgruntled Korean War vet Walt Kowalski (played by Clint Eastwood) sets out to reform his neighbor, a young Hmong teenager, who tried to steal Kowalski’s prized possesion: his 1972 Gran Torino.
